Why ABC Kids Nursery
Our staff work hand in hand with you to enable your child to progress and learn to the best of their ability.
We aim to provide a safe and fun learning environment which builds confidence in children to give them the best start in life.
We are a small and friendly nursery with a happy atmosphere. We have good, positive relationships with all our parents. Our setting is very multi-cultural with a variety of children from different ethnic backgrounds with culturally diverse staff members.

Our Amazing Playground
There’s lots of fund to be had in our playground.

Education
Learning isn’t just about phonics, numbers and writing. A child is learning through everything they do whether it is social skills, learning about the own environment or learning about their own strengths and weaknesses. We provide children with opportunities in all areas whilst following the EYFS.
Our Key worker system means each child has a member of staff looking after their needs academically and physically. With weekly planning tailored for each child the key worker will take your child through the EYFS.
Well-Being Activities
We aim to build strong, resilient and confident children, providing them with experiences to build these skills and opportunities to trial and error. Our well- being activities are designed to ready children for later life. Well-being activities include:
· Yoga- Helps improve focus, co-ordination, memory, self esteem, concentration, and helps develop listening skills.
· Walks- improves balance, helps mental development and well being, strengthens bones, improves flexibility and co- ordination, helps prevents diseases later in life.
· Cooking- Focus, measuring, pride in cooking their own food. Teaching children to cook and bake can lead to healthier lifestyle choices later in life.
Parent Partnership
At ABC Kids Nursery, we believe communication with parents is key for a child’s development. We involve parents throughout their child’s journey with us and work alongside parents to support their child’s progress.
This is done through daily feedback, ‘Stay and Play’ sessions, trips with Parents, Consultation evenings. All learning and progress is logged on Tapestry- our online journal which parents can access anywhere and add in observations from home for us to see! Activity bags are provided so parents can help staff meet their child’s next step.
Funding For Child Care
The Government helps parents with childcare costs. There are many different ways you can get help.
All 3- 4 year old children are entitled to funded 15 hour childcare.
We also accept children with the following funding:
· 2 Year old –15 hour funding
· 3&4-year-old – “30-hour funding”
· Tax Free Childcare
